Angelica Cortes, CBT

Behavior Technician

Angelica, originally from California, made Washington State her home in 2015 during her sophomore year of high school. After graduating, she embarked on her career journey as an Assistant Teacher for 2-year-olds at Childhaven—a Therapeutic Child Care program catering to children who have faced trauma, abuse, and neglect. Initially pursuing an AA in Criminal Justice at community college, Angelica’s career path took a turn when she discovered her true passion lies in working with children and families. Witnessing the growth of children as they achieved milestones, she cherished the relationships formed with both the children and their families. Now, eager for a new chapter, Angelica is excited to bring her dedication to Northwest ABA. She anticipates not only expanding her education and experience but also contributing to the growth and well-being of the children she’ll work with. In every aspect of her life, Angelica is driven by a genuine love for fostering positive connections and supporting the development of those around her. Outside of work, Angelica finds joy in hitting the gym and spending quality time with her furry companion, Lilah the Frenchie.
